You're a great communicator- not necessarily extroverted and chatty, but you're a great listener and know how to ask the "killer questions".
You're an extremely detailed, organised & analytical person. You are a true technical expert, but also bursting with creativity. You don't "fake it til you make it" - you get in there and dig and find out anything you're not sure of to make sure you're fully across your projects.
You're very organised and structured in how you work, but you're also great at working with constantly changing priorities, you can juggle it all easily. You don't get defeated when you hit a wall with a project or client- you simply find another way.
You're not afraid of asking questions, and your ability to look at problems from multiple perspectives makes you a sharp, rational thinker who critically analyzes every situation, and looks for the best solution.
This role is for a client of ours who needs a Technical Business Analyst to join their team.
It will be your job to ensure that the needs/requirements of the clients are fully understood and then translated into clear specifications for the solution architects & developers.
This means you'll need to be great at dealing with a very broad spectrum of people, and your communication skills must be elite so there is absolutely minimal confusion for either the clients or developers.
You'll be part of a team of 22 (analysts & developers) that are responsible for the development and support of their proprietary software platform for insurance agencies. They need someone who has the technical knowledge to be able to conceptualise solutions and review with the developers.
While it is a client facing role, the technical component of this role can't be understated. You'll need to be familiar with a coding language, have experience with SQL/MongoDB, and RESTful services (or if you've previously been a developer and want to move into an analyst role, this would be great for you!).
They're a special business- they're a small collaborative team with plenty of support and lots of autonomy. There's minimal bureaucracy, as well as opportunities to move up and beyond the role - they want to align with your career goals!
The role can be done fully remote, but full-time hours on Sydney time is required.
