A leading bank in Australia is undertaking a major transformation program.
One of the streams of simplification is focused on Core Banking and Lending Origination.
The project intends to identify the current landscape of its Lending platform across its various brands and business units, and provide a recommendation on how to consolidate and simplify the operations.
Responsibilities Participate in a consultative and professional way to identify problems and define, design and deliver solutions.Partner as a trusted adviser where you will provide consultation to drive their business strategies and help them meet their goals.Support solution design for clients by facilitating workshops, gathering and validating requirements.Demonstrated experience in working closely with multiple teams across various business units with a strong focus on engagement.Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency.Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders.Drive business decision-making regarding scope prioritisation.Proactively engage with other teams to clarify and understand business needs and opportunities, analyse and define requirements, and then investigate, recommend, and implement appropriate solutions.Use suitable analysis methodologies to clarify needs, ensure accurate identification of root causes and desired outcomes, and assist in documenting these needs.Apply analytical and conceptual thinking to design, recommend, and implement new approaches for, or enhancements to, existing business and systems requirements.Translate business needs into requirements, proposed solutions, and agree on delivery with management and external vendors.Review and approve functional specifications provided by external vendors to meet documented and agreed business and systems requirements, ensuring they meet the standards supporting subsequent phases of system development.Organise resources and assist them in preparing and executing quality assurance processes to ensure the delivered solution meets business needs.Work with other teams to organise the implementation of the business solution or assist the Release Manager in this activity. SKILLS Must have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.8+ years experience as a Business Analyst in the banking/financial industry.Implementation experience in Retail lending and deposits products within AA framework is essential.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities. Nice to have Experience with Temenos T24 Core Banking Application.Proven and strong background and experience in Temenos T24.Familiarity with core banking systems, with a preference for experience with Temenos products. #J-18808-Ljbffr
