UGLRL is proud to be entrusted with the operations and maintenance of this important piece of rail infrastructure.Job PurposeThe Technical Business Analyst supports the Business Systems utilised by UGL Regional Linx staff, ensuring they facilitate business goals and priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Subject Matter Expertise on the UGL Regional Linx business systems and processes.Gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.Perform process mapping, gap analysis and requirements elicitation to identify areas for improvement.Ensure the appropriate maintenance of business systems to support business goals and priorities.Create, modify, and ensure the accuracy of reporting and dashboards, in conjunction with the Data & Reporting Analyst.Support the regular internal and contractual reporting processes through the establishment and maintenance of effective and accurate automated reporting mechanisms.Support and maintain SharePoint and Teams sites including the architecture, permissions, and troubleshooting.Maintain system documentation and processes.Provide assistance to UGL Regional Linx staff and management in obtaining support and services, escalating within UGL, CIMIC and vendors where required.Support and execute the ongoing configuration changes and maintenance of data as required by the business and in line with applicable standards and processes.Assist other members of the Business Systems team in the execution of their duties.Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure common knowledge transfer, appropriate division of duties and the support of their duties during periods of absence.Qualifications and ExperienceRelevant educational attainment and technical qualifications, or a combination of experience and education.Desirable: an appropriate technology degree.A minimum of 3 years relevant post-graduate experience.ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCEMicrosoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).Microsoft SharePoint.Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Experience.About UsUGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction, and maintenance services within rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
