About the role:
Construction Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Technical and Quality Manager providing Technical and Quality Support for our construction materials businesses, based in Dubbo NSW.

Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular quality audits and site inspections to ensure adherence to internal policies and external requirements.
Address quality-related issues effectively, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical guidance on concrete formulations and quarry materials, ensuring optimal product performance and compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to enhance mix designs and improve product quality.
Stay informed about advancements in concrete technology and quarry operations to drive innovation.
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring product solutions meet their needs.
Offer technical support and training to customers and staff on product applications and quality assurance practices.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze quality metrics, preparing comprehensive reports for management to facilitate informed decision-making.
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) methods to assess and improve operational performance.
Lead and mentor quality assurance and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Organize training sessions to enhance employee knowledge of quality standards, safety protocols, and technical processes.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Maintain accurate documentation related to quality processes, including certifications, test results, and compliance records.
Knowledge and experience required:
University degree or equivalent Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role In-depth knowledge of concrete technology, quarry materials, and quality control processes.
Proven leadership skills and experience in managing technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
Experience with sustainable practices in concrete and quarry operations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines High-level proficiency with MS Office programs Ability to work autonomously Previous experience within Quarries, Concrete and materials operations.
