Position: Technical Advisor
Company: Eden Ritchie
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible 2 x 12 month extension options
Location: Brisbane CBD
We are seeking a Technical Advisor to provide expert technical advice supporting the modification installation program of the European Train Control System (ETCS), Automatic Train Operation (ATO), and Passenger Screen Doors (PSD) into the New Generation Rollingstock (NGR) fleet.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Support: Provide expert advice on rollingstock design, construction, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and operations.
Design Reviews: Participate in collaborative design review and approval, specification management and review, construction evidence review and approval.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to State and Department standards, product assurance, schedule management, risk management.
Testing: Witness static and on-track dynamic testing, test specification review and approval, test report review and approval.
Documentation: Manage and support all documentation required to successfully deliver across the projects, in line with the contractual obligations.

Qualifications
Education: Relevant qualifications such as CPEng, RPEQ, BSc Eng.
Experience:
Strong knowledge and experience of rollingstock design, construction, maintenance, and operations, ideally in relation to ETCS (European Train Control System), ATO, and PSD.
Background in engineering, project delivery, and program management related to rollingstock.
Demonstrate experience in team working environments, leading teams to deliver projects and best outcomes across a diverse range of delivery partners.
