Job Title: Technical AdvisorThis role is a semi-productive position located in Regional QLD, just 20 minutes from stunning beaches.Our client operates a successful multi-franchised dealership located in the Whitsundays region of Queensland.
They are seeking a Technical Advisor to join their team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Workshop, based in the town of Proserpine.Key Requirements:Trade qualified Automotive Technician (as the role is semi-productive)Strong dealership experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComputer literacyCommitment to excellent customer serviceStrong ability to multi-taskHighly skilled in vehicle diagnostics, both mechanical and electrical systemsKey Job Functions:Provide expert advice to customers on technical issuesMentor, train, and provide workshop support to staffProduce repair ordersAttend technical training when requiredWork closely with all staff in the department, reporting to the Service ManagerLiaise with the workshop to ensure time constraints are metDiagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical systemsAssist workshop technicians with technical issuesParts orderingHandle customer complaintsPromote a safe work environmentMeet warranty requirementsTo be successful in this unique role, you must hold strong mechanical abilities while also having the right nature to train and mentor staff.
