As the Senior SIMS Support Coordinator you will provide expert advice and support of specialised software to meet organisational business needs while contributing to the development, maintenance, and support of the Queensland Health (QH) SIMS.The roleReporting to the Manager, Support and Training your role will be responsible for coordinating routine system management tasks, performing minor application changes, managing user support activities including training and developing educational resources, user security administration, application testing, query resolution, and quality assurance activities, and end-user and system development documentation.The successful personYou will have demonstrated:Proven experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive education packages, showcasing expertise in design, creation, packaging, and ongoing management of materials and resources to support effective organisational learning.High level analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into application and technical service deliverables.Demonstrated expertise in providing high-level specialist advice and support for application with the ability to achieve defined service levels in a customer-focused ICT environment.Proven high level communication skills, incorporating the ability to liaise effectively with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and prepare and present quality written material.About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
