Key Responsibilities: Carry out horticultural activities to ensure the City of Parramatta's parks are presented to the highest standards.
Make decisions and implement work practices in line with best practices of the Horticulture/Arboriculture/Greenkeeping, trade and industry.
Undertake Park and landscaping embellishment works to uplift key parks in our area.
Adapt to changing priorities and undertake other tasks as directed, to assist other teams and operational areas, particularly in wet weather or other emergencies to meet community needs.
About You We are looking for someone with: Demonstrated knowledge of horticultural/ greenkeeping/ parks and gardens practices and principles.
Certificate Ill qualification in Horticulture, relevant to position/area of specialisation (arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, nursery, and sports turf management).
Current NSW MR Driver's Licence White Card Demonstrated experience in the Experience in operation of a range of mowers and small plant equipment.
What's on offer: We are offering an attractive weekly remuneration from $1,361 to $1,498 plus 11.5% Superannuation.
This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
