A great opportunity exists to join this highly regarded industry specialist in the role as a hands-on Team Leader / Welder / Fabricator. Operating for over 20 years, our client specializes in the manufacturing, maintenance, installation, and repairs of fixed and mobile plant equipment for the Earthmoving, Construction, and Recycling industries.
Duties include but are not limited to: Supervise a team of 10 Welders & FabricatorsFabricate, assemble & weld metal componentsReport variations to projects & impacts to timelinesPlan & coordinate activities to meet project deadlinesRead & interpret engineering drawings & specificationsThe successful applicant will have the following: Proven supervisory experienceStrong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and safety regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience in planning and schedulingAbility to read and work from technical drawingsExperience troubleshooting welding-related issuesAbility to train, motivate, mentor, and influence othersHardworking and reliableEnjoy leading by example and upskilling individualsThis is a great opportunity to join a business that truly values its staff.
