The Role
Council's Support Services team is looking for a Team Leader, somebody who is experienced in motivating and cultivating cohesive teamwork through collaboration, recognition, and achievement of shared tasks and goals. Being a great communicator is critical, as this position leads a support services team providing multi disciplined administrative support across the business unit and frequently engages with internal and external customers providing information, support and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the provision of high level administrative support and supervisory experience leading and mentoring a professional support service team. You will effectively manage your time and responsible for planning and setting priorities, organising and delegating work, and coaching for improvement through monitoring performance and productivity. The team leader plays a key role in promoting safety at work, through safe work practices, sharing safety experiences and reporting.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience relevant to the responsibilities of the position and demonstrated ability to lead and supervise an administration team supporting the core functions of the business unit(s).
Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle drivers licence.
