As the Support Services Team Lead, you will manage and lead a dynamic team providing essential, customised employment supports to assist people with disability to prepare for, gain, and maintain employment as they build their careers. This includes support opportunities and open employment.
Your responsibilities will include: Leading and mentoring the support services team to ensure high-quality service delivery.Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the genU customised employment model of service delivery, which supports people with disability in achieving their employment goals within both supported environments and mainstream employment.Supporting staff in their professional development and performance.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.Contributing to the continuous improvement of programs to meet the needs of clients.About You!You're a natural leader with a passion for making a difference. You excel at building relationships, leading teams, and driving outcomes that improve the lives of people with disabilities.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, ideally within disability or employment services.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage and mentor a diverse team.Understanding of NDIS and relevant sector standards.Commitment to genU's values and mission.Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion or willingness to obtain.Tertiary qualification in disability services, community services, or a related field.Experience working with NDIS-funded services or similar programs.For You!Here at genU, we're a group of passionate, driven people who want to make everyone's lives happier and healthier, especially people with disabilities, the ageing, and those experiencing disadvantage.
