Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Smithfield, Sydney, Australia Warehouse Administration Officer Temp to perm role $35.86 per hour casual rate Commencing as soon as possible Smithfield location Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.30pm We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Administration Officer to assist with the day to day operational needs of our client in Smithfield.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in transport and logistics and be able to demonstrate success as an administrator, be a competent problem solver and strong communicator while displaying strong accuracy and attention to detail.
The purpose of this position is to Conduct debriefing & processing of drivers run sheet and paperwork.
Assist and encourage the use of Company processes and procedures including Quality systems and risk management framework to ensure major operational standards are effective, efficient and in accordance with standards Main Responsibilities: Daily customer order entry and processing as per site and contractual requirements Ensuring all orders delivered on any given day are supported by Proof of Delivery (POD) and entered into the Company records Coordination of administration activities to support operational requirements Responding to customer queries and requests as required Weekly reconciliation and processing of invoice activities in accordance with required timeframes Provision of customer reports as per contractual requirements Coordination of alternative transport for non DGL deliveries Review, confirmation, and authentication of supplier invoices Supporting reconciliation of pallets process Sharing responsibility for ensuring Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are obtained for all products on site Support stocktaking activities Recording customer queries and resolution outcomes Other duties as directed by management Skills and Competencies: Commitment to customer service and DIFOT Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume processing environment Attention to detail and data entry accuracy Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to provide excellent customer service Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Ability to comply with Company policies, procedures, and applicable legislative requirements Knowledge of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG) and/or Dangerous Goods Storage & Handling Regulations would be highly regarded as would experience in working with inventory/warehouse management systems.
