About the role Our Resilient Families program is a cutting-edge, therapeutic initiative that provides 12 months of intensive, in-home support to families with children aged 9 and under.
Grounded in evidence-based practices, this program operates under an innovative funding model developed in collaboration with the South Australian Government.
As the first organisation to deliver this service in South Australia, The Benevolent Society leads the way in transforming lives.
The Case Managers within our program play a pivotal role in providing life-changing, intensive support to families facing complex challenges, helping children remain safely in their homes.
As the Team Leader, your focus will be on empowering your team to deliver exceptional services that reduce the risk of children entering out-of-home care, making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable families.
Duties Lead the team to maximize client outcomes while ensuring alignment with organisational, service, and compliance objectives.Support the Case Managers in understanding the organisation's vision and translating it into everyday practice, while fostering employee engagement and performance.Collaborate with the Manager to enhance team efficiency, sustainability, and process improvements, while ensuring high-quality service delivery.Facilitate team communication, performance reviews, capability building, and identify learning opportunities to address gaps and enhance service outcomes.Skills and Requirements We want you to be successful in your new role!
This means you have a degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Allied Health, or related discipline and:
Program Leadership - experience managing and leading programs in the Community Services sector.People Leadership - experience building/maintaining an engaged, high performing team and developing their capability.Practice Leadership - a passion for continuous improvement and implementing industry best practice into service delivery.Flexible & Collaborative Approach – lead this innovative team/program and engage a range of stakeholders.Excellent understanding of child protection issues & client vulnerabilities, and the impact of trauma and the effect on child behaviour and development.Strong skills and experience in assessing, identifying, and addressing child protection concerns.Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Holistic strengths-based approach to achieve lasting change.If you identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, then we want to hear from you.
