(SCHADS Level 5) + Superannuation + Leave Loading + Salary Packaging About the program This position provides support to participants who are currently engaging in our adult residential programs in Shepparton.
Both the Specialist Residential Rehabilitation Program (SRRP) and Prevention and Recovery Care Program (PARC) are delivered in partnership with Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service and offers participants a practical environment that facilitates the development and maintenance of skills in the domains of daily living, learning, working, social and health.
Through the delivery of a range of biopsychosocial rehabilitation support strategies, these programs aim to promote and support social inclusion and independence within our community.
About the opportunity The Team Leader plays a vital role in working with participants of the program as well as providing support to the team and the Manager, including direct recovery work with participants, operational support and improvements to support the ongoing quality of the program.
PARC and SRRP operate 24/7 on a rotating roster and penalty rates apply for afternoon and weekend hours.
This role does not require sleepover shifts however does require on call availability on a planned roster basis.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, AOD or Disability?OR?Tertiary qualification in a social science or related discipline? At least?2+?years' experience?in the field of mental health and/or disability? An understanding of the biopsychosocial model of mental health and social inclusion principles?? Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel?(Desirable)? Evidence of, or a willingness to undergo a National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and?working rights within Australia.
