Exciting opportunity to join SA's iconic RAA Insurance in a Leadership role Full-time permanent position based at Mile End Join a tight-knit team with a fun, inclusive and supportive culture Reporting to the Senior Manager Recoveries and Settlements, an opportunity has arisen for a driven and experienced Team Leader to join our Insurance Recoveries portfolio.
As the Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the performance of our Recovery staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality recovery outcomes.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of team performance by leveraging data, information, and your expertise to make recommendations and actively participate in the delivery of change initiatives.
As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the performance of direct reports, ensuring service and performance targets are achieved or exceeded and a positive team culture exists. Measuring, managing, and coaching staff to achieve agreed recovery targets including financial outcomes and workload performance through diligent, ethical debt collection practices. Maintaining productive supply chain relationships with mercantile agents and claims legal providers. About you You will have a proven track record in leading and coaching staff to drive performance and achieve targets.
Your forte lies in problem-solving and data analysis, allowing you to navigate complexities with precision and resilience.
Moreover, your demonstrated competence in relationship building, collaboration, and stakeholder management sets you apart as a leader who excels in dynamic, multifaceted environments, together with:
Experience in general insurance / debt recovery Proven experience in leading and coaching staff Front Line Management Qualifications or similar Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills Demonstrated expertise in relationship building, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
