A new position has been created for an enthusiastic Team Leader to manage the day to day functions of the Property Services team.
Working in a collaborative team you will have the opportunity to put your highly developed organisational skills into action to support the team with regards to all property matters.

Essential: Relevant Tertiary qualification in Property and/or Property Valuation such as Land Economy, Conveyancing, Diploma or equivalent Registered or licensed under relevant legislation.
Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex and sensitive property matters.
Demonstrated experience in managing a team or others effectively and efficiently to ensure desired outcomes are achieved in a political environment.
High level understanding of the relevant legislative provisions relative to property including leasing of land, land acquisitions, compulsory acquisitions, hardship claims, purchase, and disposal of property.
Demonstrated experience in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting legal instruments/agreements relevant to property including sale contracts, leases, and licenses.
Excellent verbal and written reporting skills.
Current Class C drivers' license and ability to inspect property.
Desirable: Native Title Manager qualification or ability to obtain qualification.
Experience in Project Management.
Local Government experience.
To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication.
If a medical contraindication certificate is provided, it will be assessed against a risk assessment and the decision of whether Council accepts the medical contraindication certificate, will be based on operational needs.
