About the role: Rabobank's Operations Payments & Processing team is a highly engaged team centralised in Sydney. We currently have an opening for a Team Leader reporting to the Senior Manager, Payments & Processing Operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operations activities are accurate, timely & efficient, whilst contributing to a high level of client satisfaction.
As Team Leader, Payments you will provide independent payment & Operations services for Rabobank's Country Banking, Wholesale Banking & Rabobank Online Savings divisions in Australia. You will lead a team of Sydney-based Payment Operation Officers (comprised of a mix of Operations & Senior Operations level).
Top Role Accountabilities: Coach & develop team members; conduct regular team meetings & one-to-one coachingWork collaboratively across all teams & leaders across Operations & the bank more broadlyPromote risk awareness & ensure that operational risks are identified, assessed & mitigatedEnsure that payments both inwards & outwards are managed on a daily basis & meet all regulatory requirements in particular IFTI requirementsChallenge the norm through continual reassessment of processes, creating a culture of continuous improvementIdentify business needs & develop appropriate solutionsOther duties as directedTo be successful, you will have: Proven people management experience in a supervisory/team leader role (ranging from hiring, coaching, conducting performance reviews, developing high performers & performance management)A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Banking Operations roleAn understanding of payment / settlement processes & systems highly regardedA high level of accuracy & attention to detailSound analytical & problem solving skillsAn ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlinesAn ability to remain calm under pressureWhat we're proud to offer you: Rabo@Anywhere is our hybrid way of working at Rabobank & for Australia, that means we have a blend of time working between the office & home.
