About the role As a Media Program Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and on the job training to support our Skill Development Coaches. You will work as part of the Pathways team to provide person centred support to people living with a disability, that aligns with the participant's NDIS goals to live a good life. This involves developing and implementing detailed session plans that are fun and creative with a focus on building media skills.
Your role will include providing the opportunity to build computer and technology skills across various areas including photography, videography, basic computer skills and graphic design.
About you We are looking for someone who is passionate and experienced in supporting people with disabilities, with a strong work ethic and the ability to build positive working relationships with participants and team members.
In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:
Extensive experience across various media and IT applicationsAbility to create, edit and deliver creative content in various mediumsProven experience successfully leading a small teamAbility or willingness to obtain a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and excellent understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practicesYou will also need to hold (or have the ability to obtain) a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR certificate and an NT Driver's Licence.
