The role's primary focus encompasses team leadership and development, project planning, implementation, and outcome reporting, as well as building stakeholder relationships and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
Reef Catchments seeks a professional who can apply their leadership experience to unify the team and drive efforts to improve regional natural resources and environmental quality.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the planning, resourcing, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the allocated sub-program to achieve NRM outcomes.Lead and manage allocated or associated staff for the respective projects and sub-programs.Lead and manage all relevant staffing matters as a part of the employment lifecycle inclusive of but not limited to recruitment, performance management, workforce planning, and capability development.Development and delivery of major sub-program outputs and outcomes within budget and in a timely manner.Represent Reef Catchments as a part of key sub-program operations, meetings, and events.Liaise, engage and coordinate with the Program Director, Chief Executive Officer, other Managers, and Board Directors as required.Foster a harmonious workplace.Commitment to and compliance in creating, sustaining, and actively participating in a safe and healthy workplace.Commitment to embodying and promoting Reef Catchments Core Values and Behaviours.Compliance with Reef Catchments policies, procedures, and processes and a willingness to constructively engage in a continuous improvement approach to their implementation.Other duties as reasonably directed by the employer.About YouThe ideal candidate for this role is a motivated, self-starting professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to mentor others, foster strong partnerships and bring exceptional project management capability.
