In this fulltime permanent role, based in Kingaroy, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Local Area Coordinators.
Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager, this role will suit a community-minded individual who also has a passion for professional business acumen.
Your role will focus on building strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure best people outcomes are achieved while producing high-quality deliverables with a core focus on positive team and participant outcomes.
Responsibilities will include:
Understanding and commitment to the values and objectives of the NDIS Ensuring high quality & consistent service to NDIS participants Adhere to, and ensure compliance of relevant policy and procedures relating to the NDIS and APM business Track and deliver on set KPI's and business outcomes Provide ongoing professional guidance and mentoring to your team Work directly with Participants of the NDIS to support the achievement of their goals and to establish integrated community awareness Support and promote individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities Demonstrate commitment to social justice principles and a 'fair go to all' You will have...
Extensive experience in a team leadership role in a complex and dynamic work environment Proven ability to build and nurture strong relationships at a personal, organisational, and community level, coupled with sound community development, stakeholder engagement & influencing skills Clear level of understanding and knowledge of the options in the local community for social and economic participation for people with a disability, their families, and their carers Well-developed communication, customer service, time management, and prioritisation skills Qualification in allied health, disability, human or child services, community services, or social work, desirable but not a requirement for the role Sound knowledge of the MS Office Suite and ability to work with client information systems Hold a valid Working With Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, and can successfully complete a PEP check Be rewarded for your success:
