Team Leader Medical Records Port Macquarie Private Hospital, Port Macquarie Permanent Full Time (76 hours fortnight) About The Role
Do you possess strong administrative process skills, love working with a multidisciplinary team and have a great can-do attitude? The successful candidate will lead the Medical Records Administrative Department reporting through to the Clinical Coding Manager / Educator. This role will be a hands-on role and be responsible for medical records administration processes and procedures, staff rostering and leave management and working with the Clinical Coding Team.
About You
Ideally the successful candidate will have:
Excellent communication and leadership skills Organization and time-management skills Excellent customer service skills High level of experience with administrative process flow and procedures Records management experience Understanding of privacy and release of information including medico legal requests Proven ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes Excellent computer knowledge/literacy (Meditech, Word & Excel) High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Flexibility and adaptability. On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $32.93 + Leading Hand Allowance 2-5 Employees + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
