Based in the ACT, the clinic uses state of the art technical and physician expertise to diagnose and treat sleep conditions in adult and paediatric patients. We are passionate about improving patient wellbeing through better sleep.
The Clinic has been an accredited Sleep Disorders Service under the NATA/Australasian Sleep Association since 2017.
The Role An opportunity exists for a talented or emerging leader to effectively drive and lead the day-to-day running of the laboratory. This is a diverse role which includes aspects of business development, team coordination, KPI reporting, support for patient care and quality audit. No specific health sector experience is necessary, however a Tertiary Degree or similar qualification is required. The position will suit a candidate with leadership/management enthusiasm, who has a positive outlook and enjoys working with a great team of technical staff.
Key responsibilities are:
Influence, develop, improve and support a high performing laboratory team comprising overnight technologists, sleep analysts and therapy technicians;Contribute towards great customer experience, particularly for patients being studied overnight.Participate and effectively liaise at all levels of the business, as well as build strong internal and external professional relationships with onsite Medical Staff and referring Doctors.Maximise workflow efficiencies including financial operation, inventory control and material management;Continuously review and improve all policies and processes to achieve best practice.Manage the successful delivery of business development projects and opportunities;Meet stakeholder expectations and budget objectives in relation to the sleep operation;Contribute towards implementation, administration and maintenance of NATA accreditation, support regulatory compliance and quality management, as well as train and support compliance across the team.About You The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
