Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Slade Pharmacy is seeking a passionate, motivated full-time Team Leader Pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Frankston Public Surgical Centre. In this role, you'll be working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment alongside experienced professionals who are eager to help you thrive.
As part of our collaborative team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care, from dispensing medications for inpatients, discharged patients, and outpatients, to conducting chart reviews for our remote mental health service. You'll also have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals throughout the hospital, contributing to better patient outcomes.
Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of teamwork within the pharmacy, where you will supervise daily operations, manage staffing and rostering to meet financial targets, and act as a key point of reference for your area. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Peninsula Health, Avive, and IVF, and ensure compliance with public health requirements for FPSC. Additionally, you'll perform other pharmacy-related tasks as needed and have the opportunity to develop new skills in Oncology and Clinical Trials, with training provided.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise the accuracy of prescriptions dispensed by pharmacy technicians.Build and nurture professional relationships with healthcare teams, ensuring outstanding customer service.Create a culture of teamwork in the pharmacy.Supervise and work within the designated area of service, act as a point of reference in their area escalating to the manager as required.Communicate and cooperate with our stakeholders Peninsula Health, Avive and IVF.Adhere to public requirements for FPSC.Coordinate staffing requirements and rostering for the team, ensuring FTE does not exceed financial targets.Contribute to the ongoing education and training of pharmacy, nursing, and medical staff.Deliver efficient and accurate medication dispensing and distribution.Provide expert clinical pharmacy services.Conduct medication history interviews and reconciliation, ensuring seamless patient care transitions.Offer medication counselling and education to patients, empowering them in their treatment journeys.Perform other pharmacy related tasks and duties as requested by the manager.Help manage imprest services and maintain continuity of medication supply.About Us:
