As we continue to grow our services, we also continue to grow our team. We are now looking for a full-time Team Leader at our Forrest Early Education and Care Centre to help us run their day-to-day operations.

Make a real difference
We are seeking skilled and experienced Team Leader (or somebody ready for their next step in their career) to assist our respective teams. Forrest is known for its expansive and well curated outdoor play area and prides themselves on creating a happy, engaging environment, providing high quality care and education with an inclusive play-based curriculum.
In this role, you will support the leadership staff in the day-to-day activities of the program and ensure all families and children are welcomed and feel a sense of belonging.
Core duties:

Lead and be accountable for the day-to-day room operations and provide direction and mentoring for team members on running program activities, supervising, and interacting with children and applying their daily care routines.
Lead and be accountable for student placements, including associated administration and supporting student placement outcomes.
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum-based experiences and activities and evaluate weekly with team members.
Maintain records of observations for individual children for program planning and assessment of each child's short- and long-term development needs. Ensure records are accurate and adhere to ethical privacy and confidentiality principles.

What you will bring to the team
To be considered for this role, you'll hold a Diploma in Children Services (or ACECQA approved equivalent). All levels of teaching experience are welcome to apply as CS#1 will support your professional development and offers ongoing training.
Further you will be required to have or willing to obtain:

Working Vulnerable People Card
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
National Police Check

You must be able to communicate positively and effectively with children and their families, delivering stimulating educational programs based on the needs and interests of the children in your care.
Most importantly, you will be a caring, positive, and nurturing individual committed about the growth and development of young children.
This role will see you building strong relationships with our educators, the children in our care and their families. This will ensure that we continue providing quality services and that our children are set up for a bright and successful future.
