About this position: The City of Gosnells Facilities Maintenance Team presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to oversee, assist, and execute a wide range of facility maintenance duties across Council-owned buildings and associated assets.
In this role, you will: Monitor and oversee the work of multi-skilled tradespersons on siteAssist in conducting contractor on-site inspectionsSupport the 'permit to work' systemProvide timely advice on high-risk areas related to facility maintenanceConduct on-site inspections and make recommendations as requiredWhat we are looking for: To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge of building construction, maintenance techniques, procedures, and industry trendsExperience in leading and empowering teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to coordinate personal workload and multiple tasks with minimal supervision and within specified timeframesCurrent driver's licenceWhite CardNational Police Clearance (no more than three months old).
