Our Environmental and Social Management and Advisory (ESMA) group have a strong reputation for delivering 1st class results for our clients across a diverse mix of local, national and Asia Pacific projects to work on.
We specialise in environmental and social impact assessment, environmental management and environmental permitting.
With a solid pipeline of major projects ranging from mining and gas through to submarine cables, transmission lines, renewable energy, offshore wind and airfields, our projects offer genuine variety.
About the role Supported by our ESMA Practice Leader, you'll lead, develop and support the close-knit team of environmental and social specialists in Brisbane to deliver significant ESIA projects for local and multi-national clients.
As a member of the Asia Pacific leadership team, you'll also collaborate with Team Leaders and Principals across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea to drive the delivery of the ESMA group strategy.
Specifically, you'll support the team to:
Contribute to the delivery of environmental and social impact assessments, technical studies and reports, proposals and correspondence Provide advice and support to clients on the environmental and social aspects across the full project life cycle Coordinate and prepare complex environmental approval documentation Support the preparation of environmental management plans and delivery of environmental audits Engage with a wide range of government and community stakeholders Maintain strong and effective client relationships You'll also support team member development including coaching and mentoring, assisting individuals to achieve their professional goals and coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations, work allocation and team priorities.

About you You'll have leadership experience within a consulting environment or be ready for this step in your career!

As a tertiary qualified environmental or social scientist, you'll have significant experience in contributing to the delivery of environmental impact assessments and environmental management plans.
Importantly, you will also have highly developed communication, report writing and client relationship skills.
