DBS embraces digital transformation as being fundamental to the delivery on the QUT Digital Strategy to enabling QUT's aspirations outlined in the QUT Connections Strategy.What you need to succeedEducation, training, and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in business, IT, or a related field, combined with experience in vendor and contract management.Demonstrated experience in leading the management of complex vendor relationships and contracts including the oversight of significant budgets, ensuring cost optimisation and value delivery from vendor services.Proven analytical skills, with experience in providing detailed reporting and dashboards to monitor service performance, effectiveness, and budget alignment.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, fostering alignment with university objectives and strong partnerships with external providers.Demonstrated experience driving service improvement initiatives, with a focus on efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement coupled with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance related to vendor contracts and service delivery.Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and best practices in vendor and contract management, with a commitment to leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and strategic alignment.Life at QUTWe're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
