Workplace Training & Assessment (Education & Training)Government - State (Government & Defence)Full timeSalary: $124,371-$130,905 per annum + 11.5% superannuationResponsible for supporting the Manager, Emergency Management and Special Operations through the provision of specialist advice regarding strategic and policy issues impacting on the effective delivery of emergency management in Ambulance Tasmania.Lead and facilitate projects related to the implementation of emergency management strategy and policy across Ambulance Tasmania, working in collaboration with other areas of the Department of Health (DoH) and the broader emergency management sector, as appropriate.Responsible for emergency management and special operations planning and reporting processes for Ambulance Tasmania.Minimum QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Emergency ManagementQualifications in LeadershipQualifications and/or experience in Incident Management, AIIMS or MIMMSNote: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.The TeamAmbulance Tasmania provides emergency outer-hospital care to the Tasmanian community. The Emergency Management and Special Operations unit plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of resources. The team can be tasked with managing complex situations that require a coordinated response, whether it be during a natural disaster, mass casualty incident, or large-scale public events.Details of AppointmentPermanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.Salary: $124,371 - $130,905 per annum.
