The RoleResponsible for supporting the Manager, Emergency Management and Special Operations through the provision of specialist advice regarding strategic and policy issues impacting on the effective delivery of emergency management in Ambulance Tasmania.
Lead and facilitate projects related to the implementation of emergency management strategy and policy across Ambulance Tasmania, working in collaboration with other areas of the Department of Health (DoH) and the broader emergency management sector, as appropriate.
Responsible for emergency management and special operations planning and reporting processes for Ambulance Tasmania.

The TeamAmbulance Tasmania provides emergency outer-hospital care to the Tasmania community. The Emergency Management and Special Operations unit plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of resources. The team can be tasked with managing complex situations that require a coordinated response, whether it be during a natural disaster, mass casualty incident, or large-scale public events.
Details of AppointmentPermanent, full time, day worker (with on-call) position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

Salary$124,371 - $130,905 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
