We are focused on making a real difference in our community and achieving our vision to deliver services valued by our community.We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader Customer Experience to bring service excellence to everyone who interacts with Council.The Team Leader Customer Experience is responsible for the strategic direction, continuous improvement, and delivery of customer experience across the City.
The position will lead the customer experience team to proactively oversee the team's handling of customer enquiries, providing guidance on complex issues and resolving escalations effectively.
Collaboration across other departments will be key to develop, implement, and champion the service needs of the community and act as a change agent to create a community-focused culture.The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership capability and extensive experience in a contact centre, ideally in Local Government.
You will be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels to plan, implement, and review procedures and projects coordinating multiple tasks.
Displaying a high level of sound judgement and proactivity is essential.
You will also have highly effective and inclusive communication skills as well as an ability to effectively negotiate and facilitate outcomes.This position is offered as a permanent position on a full-time basis, classified at Level 6 under the City of Burnside Administration Employees Enterprise Agreement 2023.You will be required to undertake a National Police Check as part of the onboarding process and must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this position.As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with an amazing, supportive team, a beautiful area to contribute to, flexibility, a great culture, and the knowledge you are improving the quality of life for people who live, work, and visit our Council area.
