Cassowary Coast Regional Council – Innisfail QLD
TheTeam Leader Contractsis a pivotal role within Waste Services, specialising in contract management, financial oversight, community engagement, and regulatory compliance.
The position combines expertise in contract administration and accounting to ensure transparency, accuracy, and alignment with Waste Services' objectives.
This role serves as a primary liaison within Waste Services to enhance waste management practices, provide public education, and drive improvements across the Cassowary Coast region.
About You Youwillhave a Diploma inwaste management, environmental science, business, accounting, or a related field and/or equivalent industry experience and experiencein team leadership, preferably within waste operations, with skills in people management and conflict resolution.
You are proficientin contract management, including monitoring, reporting, and financial reconciliation, as well as strong experience in budget preparation and financial accountability.
Additionally, you are skilled in data management, reporting, and use of waste software systems, and proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and have experience in roster management.
You must also have a Current "C" class drivers licence for this role.
