In this role, you will be leading the Victorian Land Quality and Remediation team as well as supporting the delivery of technical work in environmental auditing, expert witness or site assessment. Your team will consist of contaminated site auditors, technical specialists, and environmental scientists and engineers both locally and nationally.
Key Responsibilities
You will report to the Technical Discipline Manager (TDM). As a team lead, you will work closely with the TDM to identify opportunities for growth, manage team resourcing and development, and act as a mentor for staff. You will have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and contribute to technical growth within the wider SLR team. Your responsibilities will include project management, tenders/proposals preparation, data analysis and interpretation, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
A professional qualification in environmental science or engineering or other relevant degree and a minimum of 8 years professional experience in consulting or similar industry role.Proven capability in environmental/contamination management (soil and groundwater) and remediation.The ability to analyse and interpret complex situations/problems and develop appropriate solutions.A high level of commercial acumen and success in developing winning proposals and client relationship management.Proven project management experience.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proven report writing skills and high computer literacy including data management.Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.Commitment to safety.Hold a current unrestricted driver's license.Australia Citizenship or rights to work in Australia.Our Benefits at SLR include
