To continue developing in this area and keep delivering great results, they are now recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join their food manufacturing site in Brisbane.
The role
Reporting into the Site Manager and sitting within the Site Leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement the maintenance strategy across the site.Lead and develop the maintenance strategies and team within the plant, ensuring KPI's around OEE, machine reliability, uptime, stoppages and OH&S are adhered to.Developing the maintenance team in fault finding techniques, RCA, Fishbone Diagrams and other methodologies to facilitate a thorough and proactive maintenance culture.Life cycle management of site asset base, obsolescence and capital upgrades.Conducting in-depth machine analysis to properly detect and predict machine issues before they arise.Your background
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, being either mechanical, electrical, mechatronics (or trade qualified) - RequiredMust have experience working within fast-paced manufacturing sector, ideally within the FMCG space.Extensive experience developing and implementing maintenance strategies to bring about a proactive and preventative maintenance culture.Formal qualifications/training in Root Cause Analysis techniques, as well as CI methodologies, including 5S, Lean and/or Six Sigma.A strong communicator, both verbal and written, with excellent problem-solving abilities.What's on offer?
