What we are looking for: Working closely with the Supervisor Building Services, you'll be supervising work teams on-site working to programs across the Fraser Coast region including K'gari.
What your day will look like: Providing technical advice and guidance to both council teams and the public.Keeping the supervisor informed of progress, resources required, and daily activities.Assisting with the preparation of programs and estimates of work.Working and coaching your team across: carpentry, installation and finishing plasterboard, installation of roofing, tiling, form setting & concreting.You'll come with: A range of relevant industry experience and team leader skills.Strong communication skills, and the ability to work to and follow shared programs.You'll have: Experience organising work schedules, pricing, and rosters.The ability to identify required resources and materials.Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements as they relate to this role.QLD Class Drivers Licence and Construction White Card.Benefits of Working with Council: Committed to providing quality services to our community, we strongly support an inclusive and values-driven culture, recognising your individual skills, knowledge, and talent.
