In this Team Leader role, you will be responsible for overseeing, supporting, training, and assisting the finance and administration team.

About The Opportunity

In this rewarding role, you'll work cooperatively with residents and their families, government agencies, the Christadelphian community, and the broader community as is necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Efficient and accurate recording and processing of accounting and financial informationFinancial reporting requirements set by Services Australia, The Fair Work Commission, and the Australian Tax OfficeEfficient and accurate payroll services to all staff at Bethsalem CareComplete and accurate admissions and billings processes for residents of Bethsalem Care and GreenBriars VillageOverseeing, training, and supporting the Reception and Administration teamAdministrative support to the Executive teamHR administration duties including employee recruitment, onboarding & exit processesLodgement of Medicare claims and accurate recording and reconciliation of income received from MedicareOverseeing the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes

About You

You will have/be:

Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business are highly desirableSound knowledge of Microsoft Suite; Excel, Outlook and WordExperience in team management and human resources principlesWorking knowledge of financial information management systems such as CIMTo be self-motivated, highly organised, disciplined, and results orientated.Have excellent time management and planning skillsHave proven problem-solving ability with a natural aptitude for developing and operating systematic processesAbility to treat client information in strict confidence at all timesComfortable working in a team environment with minimal supervision.Willingness to learn new systems and be challenged by the development of a high-growth business and dynamic industry.Ability to develop a courteous rapport with all members of the organisation.High level of attention to detail, efficiency, and effectivenessA current and valid National Police Check & DCSI CheckIdeally, you will have working knowledge of the current Aged Care Act as it relates to Finance and admissions, as well as knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act 2016 and associated regulations, however, these are not essential
