As Team Leader, Accessibility and Inclusion, you'll play a key role in championing inclusive education for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring the delivery of best-practice services. You'll help create a teaching and learning environment that embodies the principles of universal design, fostering inclusion at every step. As part of the SESaW management team, you'll collaborate with peers and step into varied responsibilities, ensuring a flexible and supportive work culture.Collaborate, innovate, and drive an inclusive culture, delivering a seamless and positive experience for all UniSC students;Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to lead the way in inclusive education and promote diverse learning and teaching practices;Lead the AccessAbility Team in delivering an integrated service model that enhances student engagement, success, and wellbeing across the university.About youOur ideal candidate is a passionate leader with a deep commitment to fostering inclusivity and enhancing the student experience at UniSC. You thrive on driving service development and continuously improving services to ensure every student, especially those with diverse learning needs, feels supported and engaged. You're a collaborative partner, eager to work with staff, students, and key groups to co-design strategies that promote participation and amplify voices that are often overlooked. You bring a strategic mindset, providing expert advice to senior leadership on key inclusion policies while guiding your team with enthusiasm and a focus on best practices. Your ability to lead by example and strengthen the university's approach to equity and inclusion will make a lasting impact, ensuring our community is empowered, informed, and united.Strong leadership experience in motivating and developing staff to achieve excellence and foster a positive service culture.Expertise in developing service plans, policies, and reports that meet legislative and university requirements.Commitment to equity principles, including reasonable adjustments, personal information disclosure, and universal design in higher education.Proven ability to lead change, build high-performance teams, and drive results in a complex environment.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Knowledge of current student service issues, relevant legislation, and UniSC policies to provide expert advice to staff.Experience in delivering training on equity, inclusion, and disability awareness to enhance staff capacity.UniSC is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
