You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions. Your leadership and technical expertise will guide the team in creating efficient, reliable, and high-performance control systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead a team of control systems engineers, providing technical guidance and mentoring.Manage and prioritise projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety and quality standards.Oversee the control system quality control, develop specifications and procedures.Interface with clients and act on opportunities to grow the business through customer relationship management and high-quality project delivery.Contribute to commercial proposal documents and accurately estimate engineering activities.Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing within the team.Initiate continuous improvements via the latest developments in control systems engineering, automation technologies, and industry best practices.About You:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar).Extensive experience (10+ years) with control systems in the mining industry.Strong verbal and written communication skills.PLC experience (Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Schneider, GE, Emerson).Experience with SCADA (Citect, Wonderware, Factory Talk, Cimplicity).Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain working relationships.Ability to motivate a high-performing team.Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring junior engineers.Ability to identify and solve problems, formulate appropriate courses of action and recommendations, and support implementation.Project management skills and experience.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and Project.The right to work in Australia.If you have a passion for innovation and a drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
