The Events Team Coordinator is an incredibly varied and pivotal role supporting the fast-paced national events team with event planning, administration, and fundraising content for Starlight's major gala events, with the goal of achieving fundraising budgets and building long-term relationships.
Key responsibilities will include: Produce event documentation and manage event inbox. Timely and accurate recording of data & reporting using CRM. Auction & Event program delivery. Liaise with committee members, donors, and other external stakeholders. Maintain event microsite and social media. Table sale management. Book travel and accommodation. Receipting, reporting, purchase orders, and reconciliations. Support run sheet development with lead from Events Executives. Consult with internal stakeholders regarding event resourcing: staff and volunteers. On-site event support, requiring interstate travel and weekend work. The successful candidate will have: Experience supporting multiple projects and team members. Well-developed MS Office and CRM database management skills. Event coordination experience in a similar role. Confident communication skills with the ability to negotiate with suppliers. Exceptional time management, ability to prioritize & attention to detail. Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment. Demonstrated flair for building authentic, positive relationships. Relevant qualifications in events or marketing (desirable).
