Teaching Principal Level TP1 - Nangus Public SchoolNangus Public School is a vibrant small school situated in a rural environment 60km from Wagga Wagga and 26km from Gundagai. Its current population of 10 students has a broad range of learning needs within the multistage context, including students with additional needs. In continued support of this, the school will further strengthen whole school processes, including an environment of high expectations, explicit wellbeing programs, reflective practice, individualised intervention, and authentic collaboration with all stakeholders.Literacy and numeracy are the driving focus for continued improvement with implementation of explicit teaching and professional development to improve reading and numeracy outcomes for students. The school is working to further strengthen the relationship with the local AECG to gain insight and advice around cultural awareness knowledge and to strengthen teacher professional learning.A strong school-wide commitment provides equity for all students in their learning and wellbeing with teaching and leadership responsive to student needs. Students are highly involved in their learning journey and are supported by a collaborative culture of staff, parents, caregivers, and the broader community, to ensure continual improvement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.Special NotesClassification Structure for Principals:The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school's RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure, a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis.
