Salary: Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 At Peg's Creek Primary School (PS), we focus on excellence in teaching and learning, providing a safe and supportive learning environment, and encouraging partnerships and leadership.
We are a proud Independent Public School (IPS) catering for students in Kindergarten to Year 6.
Centrally located in the City of Karratha, we enjoy a strong connection with the local community and welcome students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
The school's learning programs reflect the diversity of cultures, needs, and abilities of the children of Peg's Creek.
Specialist teacher support is provided for students in the arts, Indonesian (languages) and health and physical education.
The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate, motivated, and skilled educator who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.
The successful applicant should exhibit a strong understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum and possess the ability to plan for school improvement using and responding to all data sources, ensuring curriculum and pedagogical development is current and ongoing.
With effective interpersonal skills, the successful applicant should ideally work closely with students, colleagues, and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students.
The successful applicant will ideally be flexible, adaptive, and be able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching.
