Melbourne Girls Grammar is seeking a knowledgeable, innovative, and engaging educator to join the collaborative team in our Technologies Faculties. We seek an outstanding Technologies educator who has passion and vision with the ability to engage students across middle and senior years.
The Teacher of Technologies and Media will be an energising and innovative classroom practitioner and collaborator. You will have a talent for creativity in curriculum design and an understanding of targeted feedback and the importance of designing high-quality formative and summative assessment experiences. You will be prepared to work within a collaborative team.
The successful applicant will have excellent technical abilities in the areas of: Digital Technologies 7 –12 Media 9 – 12 Capacity to teach Visual Art will also be highly regarded.
You are passionate about the future for young people, you believe in every student's capacity to achieve at a high level, and you have a demonstrated capacity to engage and motivate students. We value candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative disposition who prioritise the relationships they build with their students and colleagues. The notebook computer and our LMS are an integral part of the teaching and learning process at our School and it is expected teaching and learning will incorporate their use along with other technologies available to you.
