Teacher - Mathematics Branch: Cyril Jackson Senior Campus
Division: Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region
Salary: Teacher, $78,397 - $113,568 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025. Cyril Jackson Senior Campus (SC) provides students with an alternative approach to Year 11 and 12 schooling.
It is one of two senior campuses in Western Australia that offer secondary education to students beyond the compulsory age of 18 years.
Students attending include school-aged children working towards their Western Australian Certificate of Education, 18- and 19-year-old repeaters and mature age students, returning to education to gain tertiary entrance qualifications, to follow an interest or to gain a skill-based qualification.
Cyril Jackson SC is predicated on a mature learning environment and offers students flexibility with the design of the timetable and options for study programs.
Enrolments are accepted from across Western Australia and students hail from many diverse backgrounds.

The Intensive English Centre usually caters for up to 150 newly arrived migrant or refugee students.
These students participate in an English development program over two years before completing Years 11 and 12. International Fee-Paying Students are also accepted.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team of committed mathematics educators.
Our ideal applicant should have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to achieving exceptional educational outcomes for all students.
Applicants will ideally use their skills to contribute to the development of the Mathematics team and effectively build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
As a Mathematics teacher at Cyril Jackson SC, you should ideally create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
The successful applicant should have the following attributes: the ability to display care and empathy; support student progress and achievement and be reflective about themselves and their practice.
All teachers appointed to Cyril Jackson SC apply the principles of the Pedagogical Framework in their work.
The successful applicant will have the capacity to deliver senior schooling courses across the range of Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), General and Foundation offerings within the Mathematics domain.
There should also be an active interest in student achievement, best pedagogy and improving Mathematics results across the school.
