This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Eastern Goldfields College is a progressive Independent Public School which caters for students in Year 11 and Year 12. As a senior college, we encourage students to take ownership of their learning and achieve their very best.
The College exists in a unique and diverse educational domain. It shares facilities with Central Regional TAFE (Kalgoorlie campus) and the WA School of Mines (WASM). The successful applicant will be an active contributor to the mathematics learning area and should be reflective in their practice to support professional growth and improve educational outcomes for students. You will ideally possess a sound understanding of the mathematics curriculum and courses. Knowledge and the ability to use high impact learning strategies to successfully engage students in Mathematics should be evident in your practice.
The ability to differentiate curriculum and implement innovative approaches to improve outcomes for both high and low achieving students is a key element to this position. You will ideally build positive relationships with your students and be passionate about creating positive futures for students and utilise evidence-based decision making skills within your practice.
