We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
At Northam Primary School (PS), we cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and currently have just over 300 students. Our school fosters a safe and inclusive learning environment; we focus on building positive relationships with students, their parents and carers and with the wider community.

Suitable applicants will possess the professional knowledge and skills to deliver an engaging, relevant curriculum using a positive, student-centred approach. Proven experience working with students of varying abilities, including multi-age or split-year groups, is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external networks to establish strong community partnerships, are essential.
As a member of our teaching team, you will implement effective, engaging, and innovative learning programs while working alongside colleagues to deliver the WA Curriculum through whole-school approaches.
