About the role Full time roleAct in a manner that promotes the best interest of the childrenImplement and assist in the development of a high quality educational curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with the service philosophy, policies and procedures and the National quality standards, the early years framework, the education and care services national regulation and the educational services lawRole modelling positive relationships for children in our careAssist in the Planning and development of an inclusive environment to support every child's learningDemonstrate respect & build and maintain positive relationships with families at serviceBuild Collaborative relationships with all staff in service based on trust, respect and honestyEngage in professional conversations with other educatorsAbility to support children's learning and development that incorporates the principals, practices and outcomes of the Early Years Learning FrameworkAdvocate for children as competent learners and plan for their learning through purposeful interactions and teaching.Be a mentor and support to your colleagues so that consistent care and education is offered across the service.Must demonstrate initiative to support the service as a whole.Must have strong time management skillsMust be passionate and invested in your work and workplaceQualifications and Experience Completed Diploma and/or Cert III qualification (working towards Diploma)Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children's learningWorking with Children CheckCurrent First Aid and CPR certificates including Anaphylaxis and AsthmaCompleted Child Protection Course or willing to obtainDedicated and committedTeam playerFlexible with shift timesRespectful and caring practice with childrenUnderstanding of the EYLF and NQSPersonalised paid professional developmentBudget for resources and incursions to support educational programs.Fun and supportive environment.If applying for a DAMA sponsorship at least 1-year active room leader experience is required.
