The Role
We have an exciting temporary part-time (0.5) position available to join our Educational Delivery team in Individual Support at TAFE Queensland's Toowoomba Campus until 20 June 2025 (unless otherwise determined).
As a TAFE Teacher in Individual Support, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $44,273 – $59,264 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Applicants must possess CHC43115/CHC43121 Certificate IV Disability and/or CHC33015/CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Disability or Ageing, and the following:
current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; orTAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); orTAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; orTAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; orTAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; orTAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; orA higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Highly Desirable
Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded: High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems).Industry currency - experience in relevant work sector (Disability/Aged Care – minimum 2 years).How you will be assessed
