The Role We have an exciting temporary part-time (0.5) position available to join our Educational Delivery team in Individual Support at TAFE Queensland's Toowoomba Campus until 20 June 2025 (unless otherwise determined).
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $44,273 – $59,264 (gross) per annum, depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; orTAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools; orTAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; orTAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; orTAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; orTAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; orA higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland).Highly Desirable Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:
High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems).Industry currency - experience in relevant work sector (Disability/Aged Care – minimum 2 years).How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
