Key duties of the teacher may include but are not limited to:Writing curriculum that provides adjustments for students (this requires an understanding of the NSW curriculum)Planning, writing and delivering structured lessons that differentiate and personalise the learning for each studentEmbedding best practice pedagogy into lesson plans to engage students.Working collaboratively in a small team to implement feedback.Embracing opportunities to participate in coaching and mentoring programsSupporting students with a range of learning needs, including disabilities, behavioural disturbances, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, low levels of literacy/numeracy, and mental illness.
