As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The Role We have an exciting permanent full-time position available to join our Educational Delivery team in Electrotechnology at TAFE Queensland's Ipswich Campus.
As a TAFE Teacher in Electrotechnology you will have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $88,547 - $118,528 (gross) per annum , depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided; current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided; vidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment; and current Queensland Driver's licence. Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or TAE50211 Diploma of Training Design and Development; or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development or its successor; or A higher-level qualification in adult education (approved by TAFE Queensland). Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Not sure if you are qualified or experienced enough? Please note applicants need not necessarily possess teaching experience, as the right candidate may be trained and developed through coaching, mentoring, and partnering. Importance is placed on possession of the appropriate qualifications, industry experience and the right attitude.

Experience or qualifications in Data/Communications; Instrumentation or Automation; High level of digital literacy skills across various platforms (online Learning Management Systems); Industry currency - experience in relevant work sector.
