Salary: Teacher, $82,317 - $119,246 per annum (pro-rata) (SEA GA 2021)

This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025 Harrisdale Senior High School (SHS) is one of the largest schools in Western Australia, attracting students from diverse geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. With a student population of over 2200, approximately 180 teaching staff, and 70 support staff, the school offers an inclusive and comprehensive education for Years 7 to 12.

As one of the state's newest schools, Harrisdale SHS is already recognised for its outstanding achievements and results. We offer a comprehensive Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) program and place a high emphasis on the quality and delivery of General and Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses to provide a holistic education.

Harrisdale SHS is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Digital Technologies teacher who is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence in 21st-century education.

We are looking for an innovative educator capable of teaching a range of Digital Technologies courses, including Coding, Robotics, and Electronics. Experience teaching Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Computer Science is highly desirable, along with a strong ability to deliver lessons that develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.

The successful applicant will ideally possess strong interpersonal skills and should have the ability to work effectively within a team. They will be expected to engage students through an inclusive and positive approach, foster active learning, and maintain excellent classroom management. Minimum Requirements: Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
